I recently stayed at a small wilderness hostel near a beautiful creek and right across the road from the Maligne Canyon hike. It was the perfect place for nature lovers like me, with clean rooms and a cozy common area. The lack of shower facilities and running water only added to the true wilderness experience, and the hostel manager was friendly and knowledgeable. I even had the incredible opportunity to spot a bear nearby!
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement, maybe more variety or options.

The manager was friendly and provided clean bed sheets upon arrival. The location was ideal, with easy access to Maligne Canyon and other attractions in the area. Although it was a wilderness hostel, the basic roof over my head and basic kitchen facilities were sufficient for my needs. Despite the lack of amenities like running water and WiFi, I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings, especially the soothing sound of the nearby river. I had a positive stay and would recommend this hostel for those seeking a simple and affordable accommodation option.

The parking area, which had numerous potholes that could be troublesome for smaller vehicles. Another drawback was the lack of showers at the hotel, although this information was stated in the description.
